A Madison nonprofit that funds education and career initiatives for low-income high school graduates is donating $1 million to a new south side family center affiliated with Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The gift from Ascendium Education Group will help the church's nonprofit arm, MTZ Charitable Organization Inc., build the 20,000-square-foot MTZ Family Life Center. Read more
